Project activities

Choose section:

  • Opening/Kick-off meeting - for devising the plan and strategy for the project implementation.

  • Preparation of the training modules on migrant workers’ decent work – developing the training methodology and content.

  • Development of the online website.

  • Training on migrant workers’ decent work topics – 4 trainings to discussing how the descent work rights of migrant workers can be realized in Polish metal sector.

  • Joint Working Session for social partners – the participants who have been trained in the previous training module will meet and exchange information on how to devise company-level and local policies on guaranteeing the rights of migrant workers.

  • Development the Toolkit for Guaranteeing Migrant Workers’ Decent Work Conditions in Polish Metal Sector.

  • 3 Seminars with Ukrainian interpretation on migrant’s work rights aimed to support the migrants, present them with their rights and inform about the content of toolkits.

  • Final conference - presenting the results of the project.

 

On 16-17 April 2024, a conference to conclude the project was held in Brenna.

 

A meeting of the social partners was held on 27 November 2023 in Katowice to summarise the completed training, exchange information and plan the next project activities.

 

On 11-12 September 2023, a workshop was held in Ustroń as part of the ongoing Stepping Up
the Implementation of the Decent Work Agenda project, funded by the Norwegian Funds
and concerning decent work for migrants.

On June 15-16, 2023. in Brenna, the first training was held as part of the ongoing project Stepping Up
the Implementation of the Decent Work Agenda, financed from the Norwegian Funds and concerning
decent work for migrants.

On 26 April 2023, Zawiercie hosted the kick-off meeting of the Stepping Up the Implementation of the Decent Work Agenda project, funded by the Norwegian Funds and concerning decent work for migrants.
